The
rugged and proven aluminium catamaran design available on this page has
been developed following
experience with work
personnel transfers on wind farms but is equally suitable for use as a
mobile hospital or ambulance boat. The cabin can be
enlarged and laid out to the client's requirements. A catamaran's
steadiness and stability makes it ideal for treating and transporting
patients under difficult conditions at sea or on inland lakes and
waterways.
The
twin screws can be replaced by twin water jets for shallow water
working and increased manouverability and an elevated
pilothouse (as in the pics above and below) can be placed above the
passenger
cabin.
This catamaran is
also available in the 10-11m size range (see below) and may be modified
in the same way with a larger and custom laid out main cabin.
